  Morgan at the age of 18 (1878) came with his parents (Thomas Jackson PASLAY) across the plains in an ox-drawn covered wagon to Washington, first settling in the Palouse country (Uniontown, Whitman Co.), then in about 1883 resettled on the Columbia River in Douglas Co. WA.
  Morgan died 16Aug1902 at Gordon. Sarah married Morgan's brother William's son Thomas Riley PASLAY in Aug1904.
  The orchards that Morgan and brother William started in the 1880's on the banks of the Columbia near Central Ferry Cayon (T.30N, R. 24E; T. 29N. R. 24E) were sold to satisfy probate (Douglas Co. Superior Court case #135, Vol. 1, Page 160, Film P4, and Case #345, Vol. 2, page 108, Film P7; 3Feb1908 - 21Apr1910, Journal "E" Page 247) of Morgan's estate in about 1910.
