Note: D. M. BOONE family bible (in possession of Phyllis (PASLAY) JONES) has: b. 23Dec1906. Bill attended Central Ferry School at Gordon, WA thru sixth grade. In May 1918, Tom Sarah and kids moved to Mills Flats (above Methow, Okanogan Co. WA. south of McFarland Creek) and engaged in diversied farming until Oct 1923. Dolly and Viv said they lived in "a big two story farm house. Big bedroom upstairs hadn't been partioned off so they all slep in one room. Les, Dolly, Viv, Bill and Phyllis went to school 3 miles away at McFarland Creek. (Isabel Healam Dunbar, Thurow, Jean Horton, Beryl Kellogg Mabel Button --teachers), Rode horses named Major, Star, Duke, and King; and raised vegetables. After marriage to Gladys, they lived in California where he was a foreman in the citrus fruit industry. In 1971 they returned to Bridgeport. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
