a. Note:   sis Extended Care and Rehab Center, Zanesville. He was born October 9, 1923, in Sharon Twp., Noble County, the son of the late Frank D. and Beatrice Knott Jennings. Charles was a general foreman at the Line Material Company and McGraw Edison, where he worked for 39 years retiring in 1985. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, a former member of the American Legion Post #29 and an avid bowler and golfer. Surviving are three daughters, Charlene Brewer of Zanesville, Pam Tracy of Blue Rock and Debbie Jennings of Maricopa AZ.; a son, Frank (Kristy) Jennings of Zanesville; a sister, Marian Barnhouse of Caldwell, Ohio; three grandchildren, Tammy Kay Brandom, Tracy Lynn Milner and John R. Brewer; five great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Balog and a brother, Dub Jennings. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave., Zanesville with Rev. Suellen Skinner officiating. Friends may call two hours before services. Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery, Sharon, Ohio. where full military services will be provided by the Belle Valley American Legion and the Caldwell VFW Post #4721.
