Note:   OBITUARY in Parkersburg (WV) News, 22 Jan 1981 Joseph O. Partridge Marietta Joseph O. Partridge, 64, of 200 Chamberlain Drive, Marietta, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, Tuesday evening. He was born at Helena, Mont., son of the late Joseph W. and Maude Walters Partridge. He was branch manager of McJunkin Corp. until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, the American Union Lodge No. 1, F. & A.M., Valley of Cambridge Scottish Rite, Aladdin Temple, Marietta Shrine Club, B.P.O. Elks No. 477, and Rotary International. He was a past president of the United Appeal. Survivors include one son, Robert Partridge of Lima, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. David (Peggy) Wittekind of Lowell; six grandchildren; two brothers, William Partridge of Moraga, Calif, John W. Partridge of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothea Bek Partridge. The body was taken to Columbus for cremation. Memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Roland Fredericks officiating. Hadley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
