Box 78, Iola, KS 66749, abt 1979; Pg 69: Geneva Cemetery: BLACK, Milton I., b 17 Jan 1875 - d 19 Oct 1892; CONFLICT: According to family tradition, Milton died in Kansas before the family left Kansas; he was possibly in Sutter Co, Calif, in 1888 when his parents divorced and his mother was granted custody of him and his sisters; he may have returned to Kansas and lived with one of his aunts, Mary Susan (LUYSTERr) CARNINE, or Jennie Bell (LUYSTER) BRADLEY; Milton Irwin BLACK was named after Rev. Salathiel Milton IRWIN, the Presbyterian minister who married his parents. Salathiel IRWIN, age 33 in 1870, was born in Ohio. He was living in Allen Co, KS, with his wife, Louisa A. IRWIN, age 25
