He had lived with Mt. & Mar, CARNINE since the death of his wife about two months ago. His remains were taken for burial to Geneva, where he lived before his wife's death. The deceased was born in Kentucky 73 years ago, but came to Johnson county with his parens at a very early age and lived here until his removal to Kansas. He married Miss Rachel LIST of the Hopewell neighborhood, To them were born four children, [CONFLICT: 6 children; a son, Robert Donnell died young]; one son [Isaac Newton] and two daughters [Emma SPITZER & Hattie KELLS] living in California and one daughter [CONFLICT: Two daughters: Mary Susan CARNINE & Jennie BRADLEY] in Kansas. Those who knew Mr, LUYSTER knew him as a fine gentlemen, one who had many qualities to command respect. He was a brother of Capt.
