  son, asil dann boyd was born in apr 1858... son, joseph boyd, was born in apr 1860... son, asil dann boyd, died in nov 1860... daughter, elizabeth dann boyd, was born in mar 1862...the first childborn after the death of son, asil dann...
Note:   it appears that t. y. boyd named his daughter after "elizabeth dann",
b. Note:   married in a huge wedding in the house at boyds mills. they took aboat trip down the hudson, a very unusual honeymoon in those days.then they settled in morris, pennsylvania (tioga county) where ed wasa partner in a thriving dry good store. there the first child,caroline, was born on july 14, 1887.
  when caroline was 1 1/2 years old, libby and ed took her to boydsmills for rena's (irene boyd) wedding to art noble. they went on theerie railroad to narrowsburg, new york. when libby got off the trainshe was told that her father was desparately ill with pneumonia. plansfor a large weddin were hastily cancelled, and rena and art weremarried in her father's bedroom...t. y. boyd died the same day. libbyrefused to go back to morris, so ed, being easy going and wanting tokeep peace, packed up the furniture and came to live permanently atboyds mills..."
