Loven Leach and his second wife, Julia Emmajean Lewis Pierce Leachwere my grandparents. David was a lawyer in Indianapolis, I believe, and wasthe reason my grandparents moved to Indianapolis from Paxton, Illinoisafter Loven retired. I think they lived next door to each other onBelfontaine Street from about 1900 until Loven, Emma (as grandmother was called)and my Mother, Helen Isabel, moved to Frankton, Madison County, Indiana wherethey all died and are buried. I would love to share information with you. I have just names of the Parkhurst and Pritchard families. this, the 1910 census has eluded me for sose years...I found it today,27 mar 2006...
lillian leach age 6 in this census is my mother...the significance ofthe entry "2/1" under my grandmother elizabeth...2 children born tothis marriage...1 now alive...is at this moment shocking to me...afact previously unknown to me...my mother had a brother or a sisterwhich she may not have ever known..at least she never mentioned it tome... it is now revealed to me over a hundred years later...
