Notes
a. Note:   30 phone: 208-983-1134. Mary was fastidious and probably assembled this from "proof" documents. -------------- BIOGRAPHY: Commentary from apparently two different sources: "Gaberial Mullins was born in Virginia, 22 Mar 1758. He was 19 years old when he joined the Revolutionary Army a Private in 1777, under Captain Hambles, being called out several times during the years of 1777 to 1782. He served in all three years and was granted a pension in March 1833. He died on his farm near Boston Station in 1841 and was buried in the Bonar Family Graveyard at that place." ----------- "Gabriel Mullins, born in Albemarle County, Va., died 18 May 1841, Boston Station, Pendleton County, Ky., son of Matthew and Mary Maupin Mullins. He married Rachel Ballard on 7 Mar 1783, Virginia. She was born in 1764, Albemarle County, Va., died 15 Aug 1829, Boston Station, Pendleton County, Ky., daughter of Frances Ballard and niece of Bland Ballard. Gabriel and Rachel seem to have moved about in the first years of their marriage. In 1779, they were in the Tidewater area of Virginia, when son Stephen was born. In 1785, they were in Albemarle County, Va., when son Richard was born. In 1790, they moved to Madison County., Ky. (then Va.) and in 1791 settled in Pendleton County, Kentucky at Boston Station. They went there on a Revolutionary War land grant."
