Note: A carpenter by trade, he lived in Plympton after his marriage until he moved to Boston in 1793. An extensive contractor and builder of houses at the north part of the city, where he resided, he was an industrious man, highly respected. Late in life he kept a wharf adjoining the Winnisimett Ferry. He was an ardent republican.
