 In 1881 Census (familysearch.org) Margaret Addison is widowed (4 Children at home).
 Samuel was youngest and we know he was born 7 Sep 1878
 So that means Thomas died between 1878 and early 1881
 A search of 1837online reveals a death of a Thomas Addison in
 Death 1879/Dec Aged 47 Stone 6b 23
 which means he was born c1831/1832
 However, in the 1851 Census Thomas' age is given as 14 which means he was born 1836/1837. And this matches the Eccleshall Parish baptism records.
 As Margaret is a widow in the 1881 Census this means he died between 1878 and 1881 at the aged of 44-45 or younger.
 There is an entry in the BMD which may match;
 Death 1881/Jun Thomas Addison Age 44 Dudley 6c 42
 But why was he in Dudley ?

 1851 Census
 The 1851 census data coincides with the 1881 census in that the previous household to Margaret Addison is also a farmer called Jno. Atkin (78 Acres/1 Labourer). Probably one of his sons but maybe not of this John Atkin as he is unmarried and aged 56. There is another Atkin farm in the census, this one is listed
