Note: Obion County, Tennessee census District 5, TN Roll 1758 Book 2, Page48 Ruby Morris, 88, of Hornbeak died July 2, 2004, at her home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Antioch Cemetery inHornbeak, with the Rev. Ernest Mayo officiating. There will be novisitation. Cryer Funeral Home in Obion is in charge of arrangements. She was born Sept. 5, 1915, in Hornbeak, daughter of the late Edgarand Eva (Corum) Hayes. She was a member of Hornbeak Baptist Churchand was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and BillChurch of Titusville, Fla.; her brother, Bruce Hayes of Ridgely; hersister, Judith Russell of South Fulton; two grandchildren, Jack Churchof Syracuse, N.Y., and Kevin Church of Boston; and twogreat-grandchildren, Eric Church and Hannah Church, both of Syracuse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Morris, who died Jan.19, 2000; her sister, Louise Gray; and three brothers, Horace Hayes,Corum Hayes and Dallas Hayes.
