She was the wife of the late Geary A. Gum. She was a sewing machine operator for the former Nazareth Waist Mills for 20 years, retiring in 1967. Before that she was a knitter at the former Nazareth Hosiery Mills for 17 years. Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Sara (Frankenfield) Minnich. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth. Survivors: Sons, Geary of Nazareth, John of Macungie, and Donald of Gulfport, Miss.; daughters, Pearl, wife of Robert Westermann of Maywood, N.J., Mildred, wife of John Miller of Bath, and Mae, wife of Robert Kline of Nazareth; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Schmidt Mortuary, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Call 10-11 a.m. Thursday.
