Notes
a. Note:   Mary Ayres is the daughter of Isaac Ayres and Emily Woodruff.
1830 Census - Elizabeth Township, Essex Co., New Jersey lists a Isaac Ayres age 50/60 yrs old and living with the following: a male, age 10/15 yrs old (this could be my William) and females: 1 - 15/20 yrs old and 1 - 50/60 yrs old. This writer believes that the 50/60 yr old is Isaac and the female 50/60 is Lucy (Emily Ayres). The male could be William Henry Ayres and the 15/20 yr female could be Mary. I am assuming because of the document: Genealogy of William Henry Ayres (copy in files) states that Benjamine Warren, Robert Wallace, Mary and William Henry came to St. Louis about 1832. They probably came after the death of their parents.
1840 Census Record - St. Louis, Missouri - lists a Samuel S. Rayburn in the 20/30 age group, with another male in the same age group. 1 male in the 30/40 age group. Females: 1 in the under five age group (this is Virginia - their daughter) and 1 female in the 20/30 - this is Mary Ayres (note she could be about 30 yrs old). 4th Ward of city of St. Louis.
1850 Census - look for Rayburn or Lockwood - Mary would be about 40 yrs old.
1860 Census - Mary would be about 50 yrs old
1870 Census - Mary would be about 60 yrs old.
1880 Census - Mary would be about 70 yrs old look for Lockwood
