Kathryn Elizabeth Forse - known as Katie is this writers Great Grandmother and the main reason for documenting my family history.
I have a picture of Katie and her husband, John Daggett Ayres framed on my bedroom wall and I have always wondered "what was she like and who were her parents", so I began my research and have learned more about the Forse (sometimes spelled Force) family history. Note: throughout the family, the name Kathryn is given to most of the female children, including my mother, Virginia Kathryn, my daughter, Lynn Kathryn, and now my Granddaughter, Jade Kathryn.
