a. Note:   Invented the inside of the hoods cup. Agnes and Albert were first married in the prodestand church. Agnes was a Catholic. The Shovelton Family was not pleased with a inter religious marriage. At the age of 65 he became a Catholic with his children Albert and Charlotte as his godparents. His cousin William Shovelton converted him. Agnes and Albert were remarried as catholics at some point in time.
  Alberts 1st cousin's wife gets ill and sends her husband to the catholic church for holy water. She becomes well after recieving the holy water and converts to the catholic faith. 3 children become catholic priests. The oldest son also named Albert Shovelton left the preist hood to marry a nun. They had children togather.
  In the Textile World Record book that includes info from April 1909 to September 1909 Albert is listed on page 552.Commencement Eercises at the Textil Schools. He attended and graduated from the Bradford-Durfee Textile Shool as a plain loam fixer.
