Notes
a. Note:   In 1851 census, there was one more child listed, but name was unclear; lookedlike "Fasie", age 4; could possibly have been Rosalie or Francois
In 1839, Amable bought 100 arpent, which was parts of Lot 12 and 13 of
the 1st Concession of the Seigniory of Beauharnois from Jo. Ladouceur
(100 argent - approx. 100 acres). In 1854, he also acquired part of Lot
13, and half (50 arpent) ofLot 31 which contained woods for fire and
building uses. Pierre Bourdon purchased the other 50 arpent of this Lot
 31. This lot was purchased from John McRae, who, along with Don McRae,
purchased it from its original owner, Alex Matheson. This Lot 31 was in
what was then called Williamstown, Première Concession.
