a. Note:   GEN: He was known as "uncle" Bob. Him and his wife Virgina lived in Brandenburg, KY. GEN: He is buried in the Methodist Church, Brandenburg,KY. He married Virginia Lile on October 26, 1935.
 GEN: Life began for "Bob" Sharp on Jan. 17, 1915 in Green County, KY. He grew up on a farm. This is where as a boy he developed his
 GEN: strong work ethic, grit or spunk. Life moved along rather swiftly and he married. He loved to tell the story of how borrowing
 GEN: $7.00 - $5.00 for the preacher and $2.00 for the license was the best $7.00 he ever spent. Bob and Virginia moved to Dr.
 GEN: Roberts farm in Meade County on Sept. 17,1946. They moved to Brandenburg on June 30, 1959. Five children were born of this
 GEN: marriage. Laverne, Regina, Brenda, Pam and one son who died at birth.
 GEN: Bob was a practical joker who loved to play jokes on his family. He also liked to tell jokes.
 GEN: Bob was a craftsman. He was a skilled carpenter who took great pride in his work. Bob had the right ideas as he traveled
 GEN: through the highways and byways of life. Let's reminisce about Bob's 79 years in this old world of ours. He is an inspiration
 GEN: for all of us.
