a. Note:   1. Greene Co Springhill PA 1880 Census HH of James F Calvert 2. Letter To Dr T.M. Miller from Ida Calvert who lived at Silverhill Ida Calvert Silverhil l, WVA Jun 1 1921 To: Dr T.M. Calvert (Thomas Miller Calvert, Son of Reason Calvert, Grandson of Thomas C. Calvert) Dear Uncle: We came home from G r eene CoLast night and have nearly all the information you desire. We foun d the Grave of our great Grandfather Thomas C Calvert on the hill above Robert s Run on a farm owned by RIchard Calvert's son (Thomas)Tommy. The Plot is fence d but the stone was there in three pieces. When we got the stone out of the gr ou nd we found the inscription perfect. We next went to Isaac Calvderts old farm now owned by Richard Calvert's son John. He bought it about a year ago(19 20) from S.C.Brock. We found what we thought to be the spot covered with brush and briar's but John had his boys cut and rake the briars and at last we found a g rave, part of a footstone was there but the head stone was gone. We scoure d the whole region but did not find the other stone. We next went to the old grav eyard at Blacksville and easily found the grave of Anne Ewing Calvert(An na). T he others were satisfied with their find but there were so many old ston es ther e that Clark and I insisted on looking at them. We found a stone marked Fanny B ullett Calvert. At the head was a larger stone that had been recut wit h the nam e Johanny Margaret Calvert on it but it was very old and there had be en somethi ng else on it earlier. We could make out a few letters an I believe it is Issac 's Tombstone. We went to the Valley Chapel Graveyard and found G randfather's and Grandmothers Graves in good Condition (Hugh Ewing Calvert and Sarah Ann M iller Calvert--Hugh's stone says HE Calvert and neither is in goo d condition n ow--Photos available). Lisan Conklin saysthat Thomas C. Calve rt and Anne Ew ing Calvert were married in Mapletown but she did not know the d ate. (signed ) Ida Calvert Certified letter in posession of the Greene Co Genealogical so ciety.
