a. Note:   e original Burnell farm prior to the death of his father in 1889. In 1905 John T. purchased the 180 + acre Jones farm, sect.7&18 in the town of Waukesha. He put his oldest son Marmaduke, who had just married, on this farm to run it. The second oldest son Eugene, and John T. stayed on the Burnell homestead in the Town of Mukwonago. John T. also became a dealer in wool. John built a large brick home on Main St. in North Prairie next to the Methodist Church, spending his last years there. On July 17 1930 the home was traded to the Methodist church for the parsonage across the street and $1,000.00. (unknown who owned the home at that time)
