  Obituary
Reuben Brown, an old time miner of this County, was found dead in his cabin at Querida on Saturday afternoon last. From appearances, he had been dead at least several day, as the body was much decomposed. Coroner Davenport was notified and together with County Physician Bruce, and Jas. Spitzner repaired to the Scene. An inquest was deemed useless, and the remains were interred the following morning. Deceased was abor 70, and was a good and peaceable citizen, well and favorably known to all old residents. He leaves a son in Mesa county, and two daughters near Wetmore.
