a. Note:   he death of her mother, Bridget Maguire. EllenWarnock, spinster, of the city of Montreal, signs what I believe isknown as a 'Quit Claim" deed clearin g the title of 50 acres (RenfrewCo.) so it can be sold to Samuel Rankin. The document mentions the "late"James Warnock, and that "the mother of the said Ellen Warnock hathdeparted this life and Whereas the said legacy was made a charge on th elands hereinafter mentioned. And Whereas afterwards one Patrick Warnockmade a bond in favor of the said William Warnock to pay said legacy". Inotice that the words 'deceased' or 'late' are not included in thisreference to Patrick. Look s to me like he might have been alive andkicking in 1882. pkf Lynn MARTIN
