Note: March 2, 1977) on Nov. 23, 1945 in Ottawa,Ontario. My father was a veteran of WW2. My Dad worked as a carpenterfor Hobin Homes for many years, settli ng in Stittsville after the war.My Dad was very much a family man. He really enjoyed working with hishands and was a real Mr. Fix-it. He built one cottage, then sold it andbuilt another on nearby Mississippi Lake when I was a child. We spen tthe summer holidays up there, while Dad commuted to work. The cottagewas sold in 1959 as a down payment on one of the new houses Dad helped tobuild, while working for Hobin Homes. Sadly, Dad died suddenly of a heartattack at age 59. Mom lives in the Seniors apartments in Stittsville, Ontario.
