Shawville Equity edition dated July 27, 1905 (courtesy of Barbara Anderson) "Mrs. J.A. Dale and Mrs. R.C. Woodley both went to the hospital at Ottawa on Thursday last for treatment. Mrs. Dale was suffering from a lump in her side which of late had grown troublesome. Mrs. Woodley also has been a sufferer for some weeks from an internal trouble which in her physician's opinion necessitate an operation. She was accompanied to the city by her husband and children. The, latter, went to their grandfather's at Rockland, where they will remain until their mother has recovered sufficiently to return home again, which we hope will not be long."
