Notes
a. Note:   James S Patterson Obituary James Patterson was Born in Licking Co., Ohio, Sept 13, 1824 and departed this life Sept 5, 1895. Thus the years of his life were 71, less eight days. He removed with his parents to Logan Co., where he lived until the spring of 1870, when he came to Bloomer, where he lived until gathered to his fathers. He was married Nov. 11, 1845. This union was blessed with ten children, seven of whom are now living. He was converted in early manhood and united with the Methodis Church, to which he remained true and loyal for the close of his life. Twelve years ago the 23rd of last May he was called to part with his devoted companion. Since that time this world was hardly seemed like home. And as he advanced upon life's journey, the attractions of that city which hath foundations, whose maker and builder is God, grew stronger and stronger until his soul longed to fly away to heavenly kindred to depart and be with Christ. With sad, but resigned hearts, we bid him adeau: for verily God took him.
