Note: Obituary- Margaret Ruth (Thompson) Kellermeyer, 96, died March 30, 2001, at Overland Park Manor, Overland Park, KS. Mrs. Kellermeyer was born December 4, 1904, in Osborn, MO, to Leonard Milton Thompson and Mary Elizabeth (Grist) Thompson. She graduated from St. Joseph, MO, Junior College in 1922. She taught at a one-room riverside school near St. Joseph, and also taught high school in Agency, MO, in 1923 and 1924. She married Lawrence Henry Kellermeyer, son of Henry Albert Kellermeyer and Emma (Ebert) Kellermeyer, on August 16, 1924; Lawrence Kellermeyer died in 1972. She resided in Carthage, MO, from 1948-1996. She was a past president of Hawthorne PTA and was ordained an Elder in First Presbyterian Church of Carthage. She is survived by her three children, Lawrence Roger Kellermeyer of Kansas City North, MO, Mary Ann Weisenborn of Lakewood, CO, and Richard Eugene Kellermeyer of Springfield, MO; nine grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Frances Hadley of Berkeley, CA. -Kansas City Star, April 8, 2001
