  The Rock Island Argus, 3 June 1910 : Mrs. Isabel Collis. widow, of George Collis. died at 10:10 last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jason Willis, at Hampton. Dropsy was the cause of death. Mrs. Collis was an old-resident of the county. She was born in Scotland, July 12, 1829, and came to America in 1849. For a time she lived in St. Louis and there she was married in 1850 to Mr. Collis. The most of the time since the family had lived in this county and near Cleveland In Henry county. .The husband died in 1891 and for seven years the wife had been living with her daughter.
