a. Note:   Nancy Irene Kellermeyer, age 80, of North Kansas City, passed away peacefully Friday, March 5, 2010, in her home at The Gardens of Northgate Village. She was born in Peoria, Ill., May 9, 1929, to Roy Eugene and Gladys (Brown) Guilliams and lived most of her life in the Liberty / KC area. She was a member of the Eastgate chapter of the order of the Eastern Star. Nancy was a retired registered nurse and continued to nurture / serve her extended family and touched many lives as a volunteer at the NKC Hospital and Liberty Community Center. She wore many hats during her life including: owner/manager of the Gladstone Patio Drive-In, grocery store checker, realtor and manager of investment properties in Liberty. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; Marion Seaburn Guilliams (uncle); Clarke Morgan Guilliams (brother); Lawrence Roger Kellermeyer (husband); George Edward Brown (husband). She is survived by brothers Roy Eugene - Minnesota, David Franklin - Florida; children Roger Michael (Dianne) - Utah, Patti Jones - Riverside, Kerry (Sue) - Liberty, Kelleen Brown (Keith) - Utah; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Special thanks are extended to Northcare Hospice for their exceptional care during mom's final days. Nancy will be cremated. A visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, with a memorial service at 2 p.m., located at St. Mathews United Church of Christ, 5047 N.W. Gateway, Riverside, Mo.
