Note: Marriage #1 record: https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/XD2C-TFN From : Mary Jean Kippenbrock <[email protected]@hotmail.com> Sent : Saturday, March 18, 2006 - "Joe married Maria Anna, probably also known as Barbara - source: castle garden immigration records. This would help explain the love poem proposal with the name Mari and Barbara within the same poem. Anna Maria Heitmann of same age 21 also immigrated with Maria Anna. Found both in Ferdinand sesquicentenntial book (assuming I am correct about connections). It seems Anna Maria married Henry Kitten. Even though this seems almost biologically impossible b/c these two girls are born a little over 9 months apart. Source for their dates of birth and death: cemetery records. (Wow-what can I say!) The parents of these two girls are Bernard Joseph and Maria A Essing Heitmann who immigrated from Emsdetten and lived in Ferdinand. (Again, the Ferdinand book provided source -- thanks Tim!!) They lived with Mrs. Henry Kitten and family in 3 censuses (that was my connection). Father by himself in 1880 after death of wife. Also see journal page 111 -- maybe a poem -- presented to Mrs. Anna Kitten from Joseph Kippenbrock. She would be his sister-in-law (if I am correct)." -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Database: Baltimore Passenger and Immigration Lists, 1820-1872 Name Arrival Date Age Gender Port of Departure Place of Origin Ship -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Anna Maria Heitmann 07 Jul 1845 21 Female Bremen Bavaria Goethe Barbara Heitmann 07 Jul 1845 21 Female Bremen Bavaria Goethe Barbara Heitmann 07 Jul 1845 5 Female Bremen Bavaria Goethe Catharina Heitmann 07 Jul 1845 18 Female Bremen Bavaria Goethe Dorothe Heitmann 07 Jul 1845 57 Female Bremen Bavaria Goethe Joseph Heitmann 07 Jul 1845 29 Male Bremen Bavaria Goethe Buried: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=61249504 |
