Notes
a. Note:   Leroy moved a lot all his life, but ever to close counties, around Americana. That old cousin told me he was a very introspective and
melancholic man. There are some poetry he made himself, in old papers
kept by another cousin. I know his nick was Lee and he liked everybody
call him Daddy, even the granchildren. They had a parrot that was ever
counting "One, four, one, four" this was because their sons used to
 exercise near the parrot.
He was, is some respects, a very stern man. After his second son, Robert
Wilson Holland, died, his wife and children went to live in Leroy's home
for some time. There were a rigid time to go to bed, and is was early.
So, Rita, the granchildren's mother used to silently open the bedroom
window and says to the two older go to play outside while the slumber
 hasn't come.
Margareth Cynthia Steagall used to say that the main reason to live was
to have children around her, then she was happy. Iracy Mitchell (their
granddaughter) told me that Cynthia and Leroy Holland had a Cynthia's
nephew living with them. Thomas Edward was this name. His mother was dead
(probably of parturition problems) and his father had married again. One
day her nephew, that was fourteen, was playing around the house and he
had forgot that having a gun on his belt. Unfortunately the gun hit in a
shrub, shot and targetted him in the chest. Before dying he just had time
to say to Leroy "dad, I killed myself".
He died of tetanus from a thorn he got in the hand from a plam tree.
