Note: Christened 27 Mar 1864, Faversham, Kent Attached photo left to right. Auntie Em,(Emma Jane) Menella, Fred, Polly, William, Edith and Jim. In front of them Rose known as Rokel and the youngest Sophie. The next lass is Edith who married the photoghrapher, T.U.Barber .. They had three children, two boys, Laurie and Theodore and Edith. Edith Senior died while the children were quite small I think, she suffered from asthma. TUB married again and the family moved back to Faversham from the south coast. TUB outlived three wives but none were around when I knew the family. Laurie and his wife had twodaughters, Kathleen and Florence and a boy, Barry. Barry was at school with our son Andrew. Theodore married but I do not think there was any family. They lived in Norman road, Edith worked in her fathers shop and did not marry, The photo studio was over the shop, also in Preston Street. It was a lovely old shop and should not have been allowed to be knocked down. Kathleen. Laurie's daughter married Cyril Covington and they had a greengrocers shop down West Street. I seem to remember she divorced Cyril some time before we left Faversham. Barry became a teacherin the Herne Bay area and I have no idea what became of Florence. 1881 Census Edith E.
