a. Note:   Obituary: LINDA OATES BODE Funeral services for Linda Oates Bode, 58, of Dayton were held Thursday, March 13, 2003, at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Hardin, Rev. Bob Morgan, and Rev. George Wheeler officiating. Interment followed at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Mrs. Bode was a member of Grace Community Church. She loved her family and friends and never met a stranger. She enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting, traveling, watching deer and wildlife. Her passion was singing to the Lord. She was preceded in death by: her father, Raymond "Bill" Robinson, her in-laws, Henry and Elfriede Bode; and her best friend, Molly Hanel. She is survived by: her mother, Johnnie Oates Robinson of Dayton; her husband of 40 years, Orvel Bode, of Dayton; sons, Daniel Bode of Dayton, Donnie Bode and wife Hedi of Dayton, and Rodney Bode and wife Wendy of Dayton; daughter, Wendy Copeland and husband James of Anahuac; Nana's babies, Don Allen, Caleigh, and Layne Bode, Nikki Parker and Brittany Bode, Hillary and Alyssa Copeland; sister, Eilene Alamia and husband Joe of Crosby and their sons, Joey and Jeffrey, and many adopted children and grandchildren. Pallbearers were Brian Hanel, Brad Russell, Jim Smesny, Patrick DeRiso, Randy Janik, Jimmy Parish, Mark Miller, and J. B. Harrison, Jr.
