Note: Huguenot who escaped to England c 1685. He and wife arrived in the Charleston, SC, area about 1690 and settled on or near the Santee River. He took out naturalization papers in 1692. He was named as "alien born" in a naturalization petition in South Carolina 30 March 1696. Daniel and Marie were on a list of French and Swiss Protestants. Both were dead by Feb 1699 when their estate was administered upon, estate of Marie Bonnell by Elisha Prileau.
