All residents of this parish of St. Landry children and inheritors of the late Mr. Hilaire Joseph Doucet their father and grandfather. By which have by these present sold, ceded and transported with (cession) and subrogation of all rights and (actions contre tous precidents veneurs) and guaranteed from all troubles, (dans) __________, debts, (hypotheques <probably liens>, _____________ and other (emprechments) which (conquers) to Mr. Arsene Lebleu, resident of the parish of Calcasieu at present and has accepted for him, his inheritors or have caused for _________ __________ and (pretentins) that he has _________ have a certain property situated in the small island of the cows on the right bank of Bayou Teche, in the (Comte <County> of Attakapas having 20 arpents of (fau <front>) on 40 of (profondeur <depth>) (Aant) being the same that was (Conforme <confirmed>) to Mr. Hilaire Joseph Doucet by Act of Congress approved the 29 April 1816 (ainoi) that he (append) in a certificate of Sevin Waiks, then registered at the land bureau under the date of 12 September 1821. (L� acquirer) declared (despenseur) the amount of his production of lien (requis) by (Litatle) 3328 of the Civil Code of Louisiana (en primant) all his responsibility on his proper (compte). The present sale was made for an amount in the sum of $290. (compatant), The notary and undersigned witnesses, to said sellers, of which he (le tout partages) the said sum by equal portions and in (Consentent) of their good and valuable (quittance) and (decaharge).
He is well (etendu) of his said inheritors Hilaire Joseph Doucet (na Vendant) (Abrolument) which their rights and title to the land ______ (decrite) mentin) (dant nullement) (conserver) any responsibility, (en vers) the said (Sieur acuercur), declare (ne le) have sold or ceded to any other person, that which except by the said Mr. Arsene LeBleu. By whom the said misters sell, transmit to the said Arsene Lebleu, all rights of property and others which he has and presently has on the property mentioned ________ _________ to his own profit for the said acquirer made and __________ his rights and pretantions.
