He was a widower and living with his daughter Jannet, granddaughers Margaret Jolly [transcribed Mary for Marg in index] and Ann Davidson, and Joseph Binny (christened 5 June 1832 in Aberlemno, the son of Alexander Binny and Margaret Scott).
