a. Note:   Died at home on March 4th. He was not found until the evening or March 5th, by his brother, Garold Ai Minear. His death certificate reads March 5th, the date found, not the day he died. His funeral was conducted in both, Grants Pass, Oregon and Phoenix, Arizona. His body was taken by motor car to Eugene, Oregon and then taken by plane to Phoenix, Arizona for Burial.
  Junior was named by his father, John David Dane Minear I. He wanted a son named after him. His wife, Gladys Mary Good Minear, did not want him named "John Jr." They decided to name his "Junior". That was his real name. Many people through the years assumed his name was "John Jr."
