She came to Kansas in an early day with her children, having been left a widow. She was very industrious throughout her long life and endured many hardships. She had done a great deal of work during her life, not only physical labor, but work for the good of others. Her main aim in life was to encourage, advise and lead the erring and by her own noble example bring all who were within her reach to a clearer understanding of their duty and there by won the love and esteem of all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and we can lay her away with the blessed assurance that she has gone to her reward. She leaves one son to mourn her loss and a daughter, Mrs. Abbie Ryerson, who has tenderly and constatly cared for her the last few years and who will feel her loss most deeply..." is NOT responsible for the content of the GEDCOMs uploaded through the WorldConnect Program.
