. OBITUARY: 'The Advance News' Sunday, April 3, 1938 - Mrs. Elsie Freeman Harrison, 79, died at 4:30 Friday at her home at Norwood after a short illness. She was born at Walrath (sic), Wayne County, Dec 21, 1858, and had always lived in St Lawrence county. She was married to William Harrison in Ogdensburg Feb 7, 1882. The couple noted their 56th wedding anniversary quietly in February. Mr. Harrison, who is 74, is a retired truckman. Mrs. Harrison lived in Ogdensburg for a number of years moving to Norwood 38 years ago with her husband. Besides her husband she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. May Warner of Potsdam and Mrs. Porter Webster of Norwood. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2;30 pm at the Norwood Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. F. E. Loan, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. . OBITUARY: 'Norwood News' April 1938 Mr. and Mrs. Jay Warner and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Brothers were summoned to Norwood Friday by the death of Mrs. Elsie Freeman Harrison, 79, grandmother of Mrs. Brothers and Mr. Warner. She was ill a short time and death was caused from complications.
