a. Note:   !See notes for her husband. "Mayflower Families..." says she was "Mary Bucket (?Beckett) who arrived in Plymouth before 31 July 1623 aboard the 'Anne'. She died in Duxbury in Dec 1676. She has not been identified." "The Great Migration...." says "In the 1623 Plymouth land division, Marie Buckett, as a passenger on the Anne in 1623, is granted one acre 'adjoining Joseph Rogers' [PCR 12:6]", also, "Most writers call her Mary Becket, but the above spelling is the only contemporaneous one we have." Some entries in the LDS IGI, with no information as to source, say she was daughter of Sylvester Beckett and Elizabeth Hill. One says born 24 Feb 1605, St. Marys, Watford, Hertford, Eng, daughter of John Becket, and another says born 15 Feb 1605, St. Andrew, Plymouth, Devon, Eng, daughter of George Beckett, from 942.3 B4DC V. 1. The FGRA sheet had her birth "abt 1602" but if her last child was born 1651, she would have been 49 years old. It is more likely she was born later.
