ANDEREGG A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 1996, in Bateman Carroll Funeral Chapel for Walter H. Anderegg , who died Jan. 2 at age 86.
Mr. Anderegg was born June 9, 1909, in Beaverton.
At age 5 he moved to Southwest 14th Avenue and Jefferson Street, where his family started a milk plant. His family later moved to the Hickman Bottom area near Troutdale and then to Powell Butte, where they ran the Meadowland Dairy, which he later operated. His family had the first motorized milk truck in Portland.
He graduated from Benson High School in 1927.
He married Bernyce L. Bunn in 1930; she died in 1992.
Mr. Anderegg formed the Multnomah County Sheriff's Posse and Western Riders Inc. He served as chairman of the Lynch School Board for 14 years and helped start a program to bring agriculture students to Oregon from other countries.
Survivors include his sons, Robert of Troutdale and Ted and Bud, both of Portland; daughters, Ruth Andersen of Palo Alto, Calif., and Audrey Gothard of Clayton, Ala.; brother, Tracy of Vancouver, Wash.; sister, Lillian Adams of Portland; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family suggests remembrances to the Gresham Elks' Eye Clinic.
