Robins Obeds River & 11th Arthur Robins William Ledbetter Fanney district of Overton Ledbetter Hannah Robbins and Isaac J. Cty Robbins as heirs at Law of lsaac Robbins James Robbins deceased have this day barggained and Sold and do hereby transfer and convey to James Robbins as also one of the heirs At Law of the said Isaac Robbins deceased and his heirs forever for the Consideration of Six hundred dollars in hand paid a tract of land in the State of Tennessee Overton County containing two hundred and fifty acres the same more or less and bounded as follows towit - Beginning at a Sugar tree it being the second corner of the tract where James Robbins now lives thence a west course to a hickory and dogwood with the original line of Isaac Robbins 7OO.5 acre tract; thence continuing with said to two beeches it being the beginning corner of Preston Robbins tract where he now lives; thence an east course to dogwood within a rod of the fence; thence around said fence keeping the same distance to a popular and white oak; thence a north course with Preston Robbins line to a black oak; thence an east course with Arther Robbins line to a dogwood near James Robbins west line; thence a south course with said line to the beginning to have and to hold the same to the said James Robbins his heirs and assignees forever covnant with the same James Robbins that we are lawfully siezed of said land have a good right to convey it and the same is unencumbered We do further covnant and bind our heirs and representatives to Warrent and forever defend the title to the said land and every part thereof to the said James Robbins his heirs and assignees against the lawful claims of all persons whatever this 25 day of October 1838.
