Note: Moved with his parents to Baraga and to Maquette, where had attended grade schools. In 1949 they moved to Wakefield. He was employed at White Pine Mining Co. and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Killed when his snowmobile smashed into a tree after going off a road on a curve. Was found lying about 10 feet from his battered snowmobile. Cause of death was a skull fracture. He went straight on a curve and was not wearing a helmet. He had tempted fate many times as a skydiver.
