Note: Rev. David Branson will conduct a graveside service for Russell A. Marts on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Lyons cemetery. Mr. Marts, of 534 South Bell Avenue, died yesterday morning in the District hospital after a long illness. He was 88. Before retiring he had been assistant superintendent of utilities for the City of Lyons for 26 years. Born May 17, 1885 in Lyons, he married Bertha T. Pool here on August 5, 1908. He was a life-time resident. Memberships included the Christian Church and Odd Fellows Lodge. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Ward of Hutchinson and Mrs. Marie Molin of Little River; a sister, Mrs. Clara Riggs of Winfield; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Crawford-Miller mortuary from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. (Unknown paper)
