Note: 8 in Fishing Creek, Warren County, North Carolina. SQUIRE ALSTON was the son of EATON & SALLIE ANN ALSTON of Warren County. PINK ALSTON was the daughter of HENDERSON ALSTON & REBECCA ANN ALSTON of Warren County, who had married in 1854 as Slaves as reported in the Cohabitation Marriage Record. PINK ALSTON remarried to SANDERS PERRY on September 30, 1893 in Warren County, after the death of her husband, SQUIRE ALSTON. SANDERS PERRY was the son of JESSE & DICEY WILLIAMS, who were deceased at the time of his marriage.

PENNIE's death certificate says that she was born in February 1887, however, it is incorrect since her earliest Census record in 1900 indicates she was born in December 1882, which is apparent throughout most of her Census.
