a. Note:   WILLIAM GREGORY. First son of Joseph and Ann. Emigrated with the rest of the family. Born December 18, 1809 and baptized at St. John the Baptist�s Church on December 26, 1817. He was reported to have married Jane Lamb, of Canada date and place unknown. He has been reported as moving to Buffalo, New York. They had at least three children, George W., Ella J. and Charles G. There is no indication that he ever lived in Michigan or in Minnesota.
