Note: Social Security No. 192-09-5472. Harold was the oldest of 12 children. He quit school after the 8th grade in order to work and help support his brothers and sisters. He learned template making by correspondence and worked for Bethlehem Steel Company in Leetsdale in 1938-1947. Telephone Conversation with Harold Fullick - 20 November 1988 - His father, Albert F. Fullick, worked at a gasoline plant in or near McDonald when Harold was young. The family moved to the house on Higfield Avenue in Canonsburg when Harold was about 8 years old. He started to school one year late because of ear problems. He rode the trolley to McMurray (Thompson's stop) to work for a grocer named Mr. Boyer, where he milked cows and did chores. He attended a one room school with eight grades and returned to Canonsburg for weekends with his family. His Uncle Ernest, the brother of his father, had no children, but adopted Florence Henry after her mother died. Ernest operated a barbeque place in Waynesburn, PA, and Granddad, Charles Fullick, lived with Ernest after Margaret died.
