Note: The following excerpt is copied from certified research done by C. St. C. Staynor of Halifax, Nova Scotia in December 1950. Louis was a salesman and traveller, & died on the 6th of May, 1879 at Shapton-Pen, Westmoreland, Jamacia, the residence of Laurence Tate, Esc., in the 31st year of his age. The Halifax directory of 1877 shows him as a Salesman and traveler living at 123 Dreaden Row, and in 1879 as living at 29 Victoria Street.
