  Ralph was a veteran of World War I. Myrtie worked for a while in the office of the Old Town Canoe Company where Ralph worked also. They moved to Passadumkeag and had a farm.
  Per Ethan Bradeen:
  I remember as a youngster going to Passadumkeag for Bradeen family reunions on the farm. I remember they had "huge" St. Bernard dogs. and Uncle Ralph liked to tell of the story of his dog carrying on upon seeing a bear in the upper field. The dog was just waiting to be sent to shack it off. I also remember the dog slobbered a lot. And beans buried in the coals in the ground the day before.
