He quotes Groff, Clyde L, Walter B Groff, Jane Evans Best, The Groff Book, Ronks, PA: Groff History Associates, 1985. NYPL APV (Groff) 86-1589 v1. as his source. This book (at the Denver Public Library, G929.2 G8924 gro v1.) mentions a "Christian Eby b ca 1792 d 2 Sep 1882 m ca 1823 Sarah Meixell" [pg46]. However, it does not mention any of this couple's children. "Meixell" is the middle name of one of her grandsons, the dates and locations are all good. NEEDS PROOF
