Death notice & Funeral of John Tyler Dronenberg The News ( Frederick, MD) Monday 1/19/1891 KILLED ON THE RAIL Tyler Dronenberg struck by a train on the B. & O. Mr. Tyler Dronenberg, of Ijamsville, a blacksmith by trade, visited this city on Saturday. He missed the train and started to walk home late in the evening by way of the railroad track. He had reached the neighborhood of Hartman's Water Station, when he was struck by a passing train. He was found dead by the trackwalker, Mr. Peter Umberger at an early hour yesterday morning. The deceased was about 50 years old and leaves a wife and several children, and was the son-in-law of the late Joshua Dixon of this county. Wednesday 1/21/91 The funeral of John T. Dronenberg, who was killed on the railroad near Ijamsville, took place yesterday morning. Services were held in the church, conducted by the Rev. Irwin, of Urbana. The pall-bearers were C.M.Riggs, Issac Ford, John Crawford, J.Riggs,R.Moxley, J.T.Montgomery. Internment in Urbana M.E. graveyard. Geo. W. Peters wasthe funeral director.
